Rise for the Fight Development Update
Hello everyone, Reece here.
I want to make an announcement, and let you know that Rise for the Fight will halt development on itch.io soon, as I am preparing to release it on Steam in early access! :D
The game is ready to exit Pre-Alpha, and go into Alpha. There will still be some bugs in this build, some new, some from the first prototype builds of the game, so feedback is crucial for me.
Here is the Alpha Build 1 Changelog:
- New Mode: Rise Royale - Rise For the Fight will now have a small-scale Battle Royale with up to 8 players, and will be in its' own category.
- Fixed some minor bugs. More bug fixing will be needed.
- Decreased ADS Punch Attack Speed Multiplier from 0.8 to 0.6.
- Added NEW Gun: Double Barrel SG - This gun packs a punch. 2 Shots, 300 damage per shot if all the pellets hit the player. However, your ammo stats WILL NOT BE CHANGED if you upgrade the gun's stats. Only Rate of Fire, and Ammo Reserves will be buffed. This gun will be usable in Gun Party and Rise Royale.
- Sped up most Gun Firing Animation.
- Increased running speed for Zombie Players in Pandemic/Infection from walking speed to 1.5x walking speed.
- Expanded Gun Recoil.
- Disabled most firing animations, and changed some due to the new recoil system.
- Updated SG3 Shotgun Model, and weapon functionality. It is now a pump-action shotgun instead of a semi-auto shotgun.
- Reduced SG3 Shotgun Rate of Fire from 1.5 to 0.625.
- Changed SG3 Shotgun Rate of Fire Upgrade Tiers from 0.5/0.5/0.5, to 0.125/0.125/0.25.
- Updated Pandemic/Infection Last Man Standing Gun upgrade from giving an automatic gun buff, to giving 2 free Upgrade Points.
- Changed SG3 Shotgun Mag Capacity Upgrade Tiers from 1/2/3, to 1/1/2.
- Fixed Upgrade Prompt not disappearing if max stat upgrades are met.
- Fixed an issue where if your max stat upgrades were met, you could no longer crouch.
- You can now see if a player is looking up or down from your POV.
- Adjusted Player Head Position.
ADDITIONS AS OF 5/29/2023:
- Buffed SG3 Shotgun in Juggernaut. It can now 2-tap a juggernaut if all pellets are hit on the juggernaut.
